Welcome to Salty Strides! I’m on a mission to run farther, grow deeper, and shine brighter every day. Just as salt preserves and flavors, I hope these miles and moments in God’s Word bring fresh perspective and help preserve what’s good in the world. Together, we’ll light up the path for others—one stride, one Scripture at a time. Stay salty for God’s glory, and let’s keep running toward the finish line He’s set before us!”
Salty Strides reflects the heart of this blog: a fusion of two passions that shape my life—running and scripture. Here, you’ll find reflections from my Bible-in-a-year reading plan paired with insights from my running journey. Whether it’s tackling a tough hill on a run or navigating a challenging passage in scripture, there’s always something to learn, grow through, and celebrate. My hope is that this space inspires you to run your own race, both spiritually and physically, and reminds you of the joy and strength found in pursuing God’s Word.
Motivation and consistency have always been battles for me. I want to be motivated. I want to be consistent. But despite my best intentions, I often find myself struggling to stay on track—whether it’s lacing up my running shoes or diving into scripture.
I started Salty Strides as a personal accountability tool. Sharing my journey publicly helps keep me focused and reminds me of the commitment I’ve made to myself, to God, and now to you. This blog isn’t just about documenting successes; it’s also about embracing the struggles, the setbacks, and the lessons learned along the way.
My hope is that by sharing my challenges and victories, others who face similar struggles will find encouragement here. Together, we can inspire one another to stay the course, to pursue our goals, and to embrace the beauty of progress—even when it feels messy or hard
